One of the exercises of the training is about <a href="http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/spatial-extensions.html" target="_blank" title="MySQL spatial data">MySQL spatial (GIS) features</a>. I always tell customers: &ldquo;With these features you can answer questions like: Give me all points of interest around me!&rdquo;</p>
